Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains clearly what data DKR4Software (operating LeadPress) collects, what it doesn't collect, and how your information is handled.

1. Overview

LeadPress is a self-hosted WordPress plugin. This means all data the plugin processes — leads, contacts, form submissions — is stored entirely on your own WordPress server. We have no access to this data whatsoever.

This Privacy Policy covers two distinct things:

  • The Plugin — how it handles data on your WordPress site
  • This Website — how leadpress.co handles visitor data

2. Data the Plugin Handles

LeadPress stores the following data in your WordPress database (wp_leadpress_* tables):

  • Lead records: title, description, status, stage, assigned user
  • Contact records: name, email address, phone number
  • Activity logs: timestamps, actions taken on each lead
  • Plugin settings and configuration

This data never leaves your server. LeadPress makes no external API calls and does not transmit any lead or contact data to us or any third party.

As the website owner using LeadPress, you are the data controller for your visitors' information. You are responsible for ensuring your use of LeadPress complies with your local privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

3. Data This Website Collects

When you visit leadpress.co, we may collect:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, referring URL. This is collected anonymously via analytics (see Third-Party Services below).
  • Email address — only if you voluntarily submit a contact form or sign up for updates.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

4. Purchase Data

When you purchase LeadPress, the transaction is processed by our payment provider (Gumroad or Paddle). They collect your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We only receive:

  • Your email address (to deliver the product and for support)
  • Your purchase details (plan, date, amount)

We do not store your credit card or payment details. See your payment provider's privacy policy for full details on how they handle your financial data.

5. Cookies

This website may use cookies for:

  • Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site (anonymous, aggregated data only)
  • Preferences — to remember settings such as dismissed banners

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting the core functionality of this website.

6. Third-Party Services

This website uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — for typography. Google may collect font request data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Netlify — for website hosting. May collect standard server access logs. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
  • Gumroad / Paddle — for payment processing. See their respective privacy policies for purchase data handling.

The LeadPress plugin itself uses no third-party services, makes no external requests, and loads no remote scripts.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Objection — object to how your data is processed

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@leadpress.co. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your email address and purchase details for as long as necessary to provide support and comply with legal obligations. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data stored by the LeadPress plugin on your WordPress site is entirely under your control. You can delete it at any time through the plugin settings or by uninstalling the plugin.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The LeadPress plugin follows WordPress security best practices: all inputs are sanitized, all outputs are escaped, all AJAX endpoints are nonce-verified, and all database queries use prepared statements.

10. Children's Privacy

LeadPress is intended for use by businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify customers by email. Continued use of the Plugin or this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us:
